We're all busy these days, and I appreciate you surfing this direction.
FALL DAYS seem to beg us to relax a little. It's hard to sit at my computer and work when I can see the leaves falling. I want to be out there. I need to drag my feet through them. And more often than not, I take a book with me.
I was honored to be chosen as a RWA scholarship
recipient this summer. I flew to San Francisco and attended our national Romance Writers of America conference where I met with some great professionals, learned tons of stuff, and shipped home a big box of books. Some of those books are what I chose to give for my October contest last month. Julia Harper was one of the ladies I met, and she was nice enough to sign her new book HOT for me. I also have an autographed copy of Sheila Roberts' BIKINI SEASON--a fun thing to read as the temps drop. I went to a wonderful workshop by Lyn Cote, and am happy to offer BLESSED ASSURANCE (though I couldn't hang around long enough to get it signed). And lastly I have a beautiful hardback copy of Colleen Coble's ABOMINATION.
